春季沿枝条开满芳香的玫红色花，花蕾红色。果实深红色，持果到冬季。新叶砖红色，夏季深绿色，秋叶黄色。

  Sparkler Flowering Crab is draped in stunning clusters of fragrant rose red flowers along the branches in mid spring, which emerge from distinctive red flower buds before the leaves. The fruits are showy dark red pomes carried in abundance from early fall to winter. It has dark green foliage which emerges brick red in spring. The pointy leaves turn yellow in fall.
